Make Up To £250 An Article As
A Ten Minute Writer
 |
How would you like to make yourself a steady sideline income? A ‘nice-little-earner’ to pay for holidays, school fees, a new car, or whatever? An income which you can, if you wish, develop into a well-paid full-time job? And all this from the comfort of your own home in the odd spare moment, doing no more than putting a few words on paper?
An impossible dream, you might think. Not at all! For the last twelve years that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I’m a busy mother of three children and also have a part-time job with a local charity, which I love. As you’ll imagine, I don’t have much chance to lock myself away for hours to produce ‘The Great Novel’ or whatever. What I do have is a few minutes here and there, which I’ve learned to turn into steady profits.
My husband originally called me ‘the ten-minute writer’ as a joke - but now I’m earning almost as much from my short paragraphs as he does from his full-time job, he’s not laughing any more (though he is pleased, of course!). Now, at the invitation of Maple Academy, I’ve turned my experiences into a course which I believe anyone who knows which way up to hold a pen will be able to read and profit from...
Maybe you’ve always thought that to make money from writing you have to produce filmscripts or blockbuster novels? Wrong! The fact is, for every script that gets produced and earns its writer a (small) fortune, there are hundreds, maybe thousands, that never make the author a penny. A similar tale, sadly, applies to novels.
But just think - in the time it takes to write one, probably unsellable, filmscript or novel, you could produce hundreds, even thousands, of ten-minute items. Suppose you sell only 10% of these (with the help of my course you should do much better, by the way) - you’ll still be laughing all the way to the bank!
And it’s not just peanuts either. That claim in the headline may have surprised you, but it’s true. In Lesson Three of the Ten Minute Writer Course, you’ll learn about a publication which pays up to £250 for certain easy-to-write items which may be no more than fifty words long. As a rate of pay, that works out as £5,000 per 1,000 words. Even top novelist Jeffrey Archer wouldn’t turn his nose up at that!
As you’ll have gathered by now, my Ten Minute Writer Course isn’t aimed at people who want to write great literature. Good luck to them, but I’ve written my course more for people who would like to make money from writing but have limited time to pursue it. People like me, in fact - and, I hope, people like you. Read on to see what goodies I have in store for you over the eleven modules of the course... |

As you can see, my Ten Minute Writer course is crammed with ideas for making money from writing in whatever time you have available. You don’t have to be an English professor to succeed either. Indeed, for some fields such as readers’ letters you don’t even need to be any great shakes at spelling or punctuation. Nevertheless, especially as you move on to more ambitious projects, it helps a lot if you understand the basics - so throughout the course I’ll be explaining what works and what to avoid, based on my own (and other people’s) experiences.
What About The Competition?
It’s true, there are other writing courses around, but none as far as I know which focuses exclusively on what I do - making money from writing short paragraphs. Many cost hundreds of pounds and, though they may be helpful in their way, they are created and staffed by teachers and tutors with little experience in the ‘real’ world. Many were written ten or more years ago, and have never been updated.
By contrast, The 10 Minute Writer Course is written by someone (me!) who really does know what it takes to make money through writing within a busy lifestyle. It’s bang up to date, with all the information about today’s markets you’ll need to start selling your work straight away. What’s more, the course is published and run by Maple Academy, a well-established and respected publisher of home-study courses, including the market-leading Professional Proofreading & Editing Course.
Through studying on my course, you will learn a huge variety of ways to make your part-time writing pay big dividends. As well as making more money, you’ll be having fun, talking to and perhaps meeting new people (your happy clients!), and giving your self-confidence and self-esteem a huge boost into the bargain. And, if you wish, you’ll be well on your way to a full-time career as a well-paid freelance writer.
