I received this course today and already have read slowly through module 1 of child psychology course.

I have to say i have thoughourly enjoyed this module. The information is accurate. Very detailed, and very well written.

It just so happens that my friend has had a baby girl recently and i have spent many a time in this past week interacting with her baby. The baby is 4 weeks
old.  


I've watched her tiny hand clasp my little finger, her eyes looking straight up at me while holding her. It was like she was saying to me through her curious
eyes, who are you, you are a new face, you ain't my mummy.

I started talking to the baby and smiling at her. It was amazing to see her copy my smile straight away. She wasn't shy that i was a stranger. She certainly did just beam a huge smile back at me. Some call it a wind smile at that age, but i do believe and agree with the module that babies are so aware of people and surroundings,and their senses are so sharp.

Now looking forward to reading module 2. Which is on tomorrows agenda.
